SOLAR SHIELD TECHNOLOGY - GARAGE DOOR'S SUN-PROOF PROTECTIVE SHIELD

Thanks to the Solar Shield technology, KRISPOL garage gates with RENOLIT EXOFOL MX veneers are resistant to extremely high temperatures and scorching sun rays. Tests conducted in hot and arid Arizona proved that SST film coated profiles resisted temperatures below 60⁰C. The veneer forms a protective shield, helping to reduce the panel's temperature and protecting it against harmful UV radiation.

SST technology protects garage door panels against large temperature differences, slowing down the garage door's physical and chemical wear. This extends the life of garage doors and guarantees worry-free operation for many years.

LIFE LIKE - BREAKTHROUGH VENEER FILM BY HORNSCHUCH

HORNSCHUCH veneers used in KRISPOL's garage doors are made from an exceptionally flexible film boasting a new improved structure. The new film can be applied even to spots that are very hard to reach, like tiny pits in door panels. The production process allows for successful and complete elimination of the material's tendency for secondary shrinking (the so-called memory effect) that caused the film's edges to become unstuck.

Another advantage of the veneer is the use of water-repellent paint. The special paint causes the water (and its impurities) to gather on the surface of the garage door, making it easier to remove. Garage doors have never been easier to keep clean!

COOL COLOURS - GARAGE DOORS THAT NEVER HEAT UP

The intensity with which a garage door heats up depends to a large extent on the content of black pigment in the applied veneer. Black pigment absorbs infrared (IR) light and turns energy into heat, much of which is dissipated into the garage door surface elements. As a result, the garage door heats up, leading to the warping of panels in extreme cases.

KRISPOL uses HORNSCHUCH veneers featuring Cool Colours technology that eliminate the problem. The veneers are made with special patented pigments that reflect up to 80% of infrared radiation, thus bringing the panel's temperature down. This means that the surface of even the darkest veneers will never reach levels critical for the panels, effectively eliminating the risk of permanent damage due to stress. The technology also protects color intensity.
