KRISPOL doors are equipped
with an array of protective devices
to prevent break-in and accidents.
Bolt lock - operated on both sides of the door,
mounted in the lower strip of the curtain, on the inside.
The lock makes it impossible to lift rolling doors from the outside, when locked.
Emergency brake - to prevent sudden uncontrolled fall of the door.
Edge protection (optical or pneumatic) - an additional accessory fitted in electrically powered doors. Edge protection prevents crushing. When the doors comes up against an obstruction (e.g. a car, a forklift truck) while being closed, it stops automatically and then travels up.
Protection against rolling on the shaft - used in electrically powered doors. Thanks to the protection, the door stops automatically whenever an undesirable element gets to the door's curtain.
Spring breaking protection - to prevent the door from falling rapidly if the spring breaks.
Photocell sensors - an additional accessory. They are used to protect against crushing. The door lifts automatically if any obstruction is detected by photocell sensors.
Anti-wind hooks - used in rolling doors that are more than 5 m wide. The hooks prevent the door from being removed from the guide in heavy wind conditions.
Lock micro-switch - used in electrically powered doors. When the lock is in place, the door cannot operate.
Light signal system - indicates the current position of industrial rolling doors. Red light - the door is closed; red flashing light - the door is being operated; green light - the door is open.
