Protections

The basic burglary protection device used in KRISPOL grilles is a BOLT LOCK fixed in the bottom curtain strip on the inside. The device makes it impossible for unauthorised people to lift the grille from the outside, if bolted.

LOCK MICRO-SWITCH - used in electrically powered rolling grilles.
When the lock is in place, the grille cannot operate.

EMERGENCY BRAKE - to prevent sudden uncontrolled fall of the grille.

EDGE PROTECTION (optical or pneumatic) - an additional accessory fitted in electrically powered rolling grilles. The protection is used to protect against crushing.
When the grille comes up against an obstruction (e.g. a cardboard box) while being closed, it stops automatically and then travels up.

PROTECTION AGAINST ROLLING ON THE SHAFT - used in electrically powered grilles.
Thanks to the protection, the rolling grille stops automatically whenever an undesirable element gets into the grille.

PHOTOCELL SENSORS - an additional accessory available for grilles.
They are used to protect against crushing.
The grille lifts automatically if any obstruction is detected by photocell sensors.

Aluminium grilles are also equipped with LOCKING SECTIONAL TRACK HANGERS mounted on the grille's shaft. They block the curtain when the grille is locked, making it impossible to lift the grille from the outside.
